BLURB:

What happens when two souls meant to live their life together are separated at birth? Would fate find a way to reunite them, where they fall in love without knowing their lineage?

Could fate be that cruel? This is the question posed at the start of a story so complicated no one could predict how these men would find their way back to one another.

This is the story of Noah James and Ashton Brooks. Noah was born as a twin, with his brother Liam, leading an everyday life with wealthy and loving parents. Ashton was raised by a single mom. Even though Noah and Ashton always knew love, their lives were in complete contrast until they met and shared a chemistry that transcended time and understanding.

Both MCs are over 18.

Written in first person.

4 Stars!

First thing first, this is a taboo romance between twin brothers, so if that’s not your cup of tea, turn around now, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Don’t come crying to me if you didn’t listen.

I started reading MM fanfiction a long time ago and my introduction to it was twincest, so of course, I was going to jump at the chance to read this book, especially since I’ve read other books by Leigh Lennon and I’ve enjoyed them.

I found Switched at Birth to be entertaining, yet not exactly what I was hoping it to be. For one, Noah and Ashton’s chemistry was sizzling, yes, and I believed they definitely belonged together in any way they could be. Unfortunately, for me, there were too many sex scenes (I know a lot of people are going to love this, but I ended up skimming through a lot of them). Additionally, the way Noah handled the big reveal made me want to slap him silly, especially since it didn’t just affect him and Ashton, but the kids as well. I know there needed to be some kind of repercussion, I just didn’t like the way it was handled. *shrugs*

I’m really interested in reading Liam and Tia’s side of the story, I have a suspicion I need to have confirmed.

Overall, while Switched at Birth wasn’t as emotional as I hoped it would be, at least not until the last 20% or so of the book, it was still a good read, and if you enjoy taboo romances, you definitely don’t want to miss this one.
